Michael West insists he remains fully committed to Ebbsfleet after putting on a sparkling display in front of a host of Football League scouts on Tuesday.
The midfielder bagged both Fleet goals in a 2-2 draw with Luton, including a wonderful stoppage time equaliser.
Speculation surrounding West’s future has grown over the last few weeks, with Crystal Palace rumoured to be among the clubs interested in the midfielder.
The 20-year-old’s stock will have risen further after his late double but he remains unconcerned by the off-field chatter.
He said: "That doesn’t bother me. I have an agent and he tells me but if I let that bother me, it would ruin my performances on the pitch.
"They can come all they want but at the moment I’m an Ebbsfleet player. It lets me know that I’m playing well.
"I’m only young still and I want to do well in my career. Hopefully, we can get Ebbsfleet up there (into the Football League). It’s my local club, I only live 10 minutes down the road, so you never know. I want to do the best I can, wherever it takes me."
