Eleven migrants, including a seven-year-old, have been rescued from the back of a refrigerated lorry.
The group was found in what's thought to be a truck containing oranges in Gravesend overnight.
A police spokesman said officers were called at 11.32pm yesterday to a report of a number of suspected migrants in a refrigerated lorry in a supermarket car park in London Road, Northfleet.
They joined ambulance workers, and a boy was taken to hospital as a precaution.
He was later discharged and the group were taken to the Home Office immigration enforcement facility.
A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting illegal entry to the UK and currently remains in custody.
