OThe Royal Navy's biggest ship, HMS Ocean, sailed up the Thames at the start of the Olympics security operations.

The ship - used to ferry Royal Marines into battle - was escorted by a number of smaller craft and four tugs.

The Defence ministry has said there will be plenty of military activity over the weekend as they practice for terrorist threats.

HMS Ocean will be at the centre of it all.
