A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after he crashed into metal railings while allegedly being attacked by two men on an electric bike.
The collision occurred in Rochester Road, Gravesend, at around 4.40pm yesterday (March 16).
Police say a man sustained “serious” injuries while riding his Honda motorcycle.
It is alleged two men on a black and purple e-bike kicked him several times as he rode through the town into Old Road East.
He then collided with some metal railings in Parrock Road, where it is reported the suspects assaulted him again before trying to take the motorcycle.
However, the two men left the scene empty-handed on the e-bike, while the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to serious leg injuries.
Now, officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
The force said: “Enquiries into the incident are underway and officers are urging witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to contact the appeal line.”
