The temporary traffic restriction will come into effect on Tuesday, October 29, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.

However, it is expected the works will last for approximately two weeks.

Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted via other junctions of the A2 or by using either the A227, B261 and Valley Drive, or Brewers Road, or the A227, Green Lane, Camer Road, Sole Street, Jeskyns Road and Henhurst Road, as required.

The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
