A YOUNG mother accused of murdering her father has been granted continued bail at a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.

Hazel Thomas, 22, of Lorton Close, Gravesend, is charged with stabbing Stephen Akers, 50, with a carving knife.

On Monday magistrates at Dartford granted her conditional bail. She is due to appear before the crown court again next Monday.
