A 23-year-old man is still being quizzed by police today after a man's body was discovered in Gravesend on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a second 23-year-old man has been bailed until later today, and a woman, aged 29, has been released without charge.
The three were arrested in Windmill Street shortly after the discovery at a property in Clarence Row on Sunday night.
It comes as tributes are paid to the man who was found dead, named locally as Danny Wallis.
Police were called to Clarence Row on Sunday evening after his body was discovered.
Speaking outside the 28-year-old's home yesterday, a close female relative, who asked not to be named, paid a short tribute.
The woman said: "He was just a loving bloke and would never hurt anyone. He had some problems and just followed his mates, or so-called mates.
"He just didn't always know right from wrong.
"The family are distraught. None of us can believe what has happened.
"I am just frustrated that there is nothing I can do. I just want to know the full story."
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to an address in Clarence Row, Gravesend, at 7.46pm on Sunday, May 31 where officers located the body of a man in his 20s.
"Secamb attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Two men, both aged 23, and a woman aged 29, were subsequently arrested in Windmill Street on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Inquiries are on-going."
Police also confirmed the victim knew his alleged killers. No details have yet been released about how the man died.
The crime scene is a quiet residential area, a mix of flats and houses.
One resident described the area as "quiet", where they rarely "get any trouble". Another said the same, describing it as a "pleasant" place to live.
A neighbour, who did not want to be named, said he believed the victim's name was Dan but did not know his surname and he lived on the eighth floor.
He said police had been there all night on Sunday. The door to the victim's flat had been taped off and a police officer was standing guard outside yesterday.
He said: "It used to be quiet on this floor until he moved in. Dan himself was quiet but he had a lot of visitors that could be rowdy. They made a lot of noise and kicked on doors."
The neighbour said he had heard some noise on Sunday night, but nothing that alarmed him.
He said he had been quizzed by police but had been unable to help them as he did not know anything.
