MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help police after various musical instruments were stolen during a break-in at a Kent school.
The items taken, including an alto and bass flute, a soprano saxophone, a trumpet, a euphonium and a Yamaha keyboard, were taken from the music department at Chantry Primary School and Nursery in Ordnance Road, Gravesend.
Computer equipment, a digital camera, printer and recording equipment were also stolen.
Police in North Kent say the offenders gained entry to the premises by forcing two fire doors.
DC Glenn Blanchard, the officer investigating the burglary, said: “I would urge people to ensure that if they are offered any musical instruments to ask the origin of the items."
