An ice bucket challenge at Asda Gravesend left five plucky volunteers feeling a little blue, but also tickled pink for charity.
Gravesham mayor John Caller, Asda store manager Matt Harris, the store's community life champion Jacquii Alexander-Smith, Dane May, assistant manager at NRG Gym and Messenger reporter Alex Matthews all braved a dunking in aid of Tickled Pink Breast Cancer Charity.
Confident Queen Genny Jones was among those willing to tip one of five buckets.
A 'slightly damp' Alex, 25, said: "I was happy to help out and do my bit for Tickled Pink.
"It's a great cause and at the Messenger we feel it's important to take part in charity events in the community."
The ice bucket challenge was just one of several fund-raising activities organised by the store.
Throughout October customers can also enjoy games such as 'Guess the Name of a Seal' and how many jelly starfish sweeties are stuffed in a jar.
Other beach-themed attractions in the Thames Way store include a photo board of a comedic man and woman.
Customers are invited to put their heads through the holes, take a photo and then upload to Twitter tagging in @AsdaGravesend and @AsdaTickledPink.
Each entry will go into a prize draw at the end of October with the chance of winning a £10 gift card.
So far this year, the store has raised £2,150 for Tickled Pink but hopes to reach £4,000.
