Youngsters are being invited to name Santa’s new reindeers.
Father Christmas and his elves have moved into their magical grotto at Millbrook Garden Centre in Southfleet until December 24.
It was opened by three-year-old Aaron Lindridge, from Northfleet, who Messenger readers have supported throughout his year-long cancer battle.
Little ones can now hop on board a sleigh and travel through the enchanted forest to meet the big man and tell him their wish list.
Reindeer will join Santa at the grotto on December 8 and help him until they need to go flying off on Christmas Eve.
But this isn’t the usual bunch – there’s no Dasher or Dancer, Prancer or Vixen. These are new recruits who need names.
Customers who come up with the best suggestions win the chance to have a souvenir photograph taken with the reindeer they have named and a free trip to the grotto.
To enter, pick up a form in the garden centre or print one out from the website and post it in the competition box in store. Closing date is December 12.
There’s also Supper with Santa, 5pm-7.30pm, every Thursday, from November 29 and children can also enjoy Breakfast with Santa every weekend between December 1-23. Sessions will run from 9am on Saturdays and 9.30am on Sundays and last approximately 90 minutes.
There is also a charity festive evening tonight (Friday, November 23), 6.30pm-9pm. Tickets are £1 donation which includes a free mince pie and glass of mulled wine. There's also music and entertainment while you shop.
