Motorsport fans have the chance to watch some of the vehicles that will be racing at Brands Hatch in 2009 completely free of charge when the Kent circuit stages its annual season launch next month.
The launch, on Monday, March 2, will include the official unveiling of the new FIA Formula Two Championship car. The Williams F1-designed vehicle will be revealed to the public for the first time and will also perform some demonstration laps around the Indy circuit.
Drivers and riders from major championships visiting Brands Hatch in 2009 will also be present at the event, including triple World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx, who will be performing some high-speed laps in his BMW 3-Series.
Former MotoGP rider Sylvain Guintoli will be making an appearance after signing for Crescent Suzuki in the British Superbike Championship, along with drivers from the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport. There will also be parade laps from historic racing vehicles and a demonstration from a five-tonne racing truck.
The day begins at 10.30am with the unveiling of the new Formula Two car.
