A YOUNG mother accused of murdering her father is likely to face trial some time in the New Year.

Hazel Thomas, 22, of Lorton Close, Gravesend, spoke only to confirm her name when she appeared before a judge at Maidstone Crown court for a preliminary hearing.

Thomas, who has been bailed to an undisclosed address out of the area, was told to return to Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, December 16, for a plea and directions hearing.
