TROUBLEMAKERS who target Gravesend will be banned from the town’s nightspots in a new initiative led by Gravesham Borough Council and the police.

Anyone involved in threatening behaviour in a pub or restaurant will now be eligible for an order which will see them banned from local nightspots.

The ban can be imposed at the point of arrest, caution or issue of a penalty notice for disorder.

Offenders could face exclusion lasting between three months and two years.
