Patients have been told to rebook their jabs after two-hour long queues formed at a mass Covid-19 vaccine centre.
Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) apologised earlier today for delays at its inoculation centre based at the Woodville Halls in Gravesend.
In a tweet it sought to assure patients they would be still be seen after reporting two hour long queues.
Those who had booked were told to wait until after 5pm when things "usually quieten down".
But just a short while later the trust sent out another message on social media telling patients with bookings after 6pm not to join the queue if they hadn't already done so and to rebook their appointments.
It posted: "There are very long queues at our vaccination centre in Gravesend.
"If you have an appointment there after 6pm please cancel it and rebook it via the national booking system and do not join the queue.
"Our admin team is contacting anyone with an appointment after 6pm advising them to re-book.
"We apologise for any inconvenience. Please remember that our staff are doing a very tough job in difficult circumstances and are doing their best to help you and others."
The theatre, forced to temporarily close due to the pandemic lockdowns, is owned by Gravesham council which has been working with NHS bosses to operate the site.
The council is offering an hour's free parking in a dedicated area of the Parrock Street car park for people attending the vaccination centre.
It is one of five mass vaccine centres in Kent run by KCHFT.
Last month, patients faced long delays at another mass Covid-19 vaccine centre at the Pentagon Centre in Medway after a surge in demand.
