A PENSIONER has died in hospital after being struck by a bus in Gravesend. The 87-year-old man was walking in Rochester Road when the accident happened. He was taken to Dartford's Darent Valley Hospital but died shortly afterwards.

Rochester Road was closed from Milton Road to the Lion roundabout after the accident but later re-opened. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 01474 331055.
