Peter Andre fans will be going 'insania' following news that the pop star is to headline Gravesend's Riverside Festival.
Best known for his hit singles “Mysterious Girl and “Flava” Peter rose to fame in the early 1990's as a pop star and pin up, before finding further fame through his TV career and relationship with Katie Price.
He will headline the main stage at the Riverside Festival on Saturday, July 4, following an all-day line up of tribute bands including Elite Elton (Elton John), Moves Like Jagger (Maroon 5) and The Stevie Wonder Band (Stevie Wonder).
This year will also bring opportunities for Gravesham bands to perform on both the main stage and the Band Stand.
As well as live music there will be lots of fun activities for the whole family including the popular 'active green' with sports activities for people of all ages to take part in.
This year the festival will also feature an American themed fair at the Fort Gardens band stand are,a with live music, amazing food stalls and activities.
Cllr Shane Mochrie-Cox, cabinet member for communities and leisure said: “Every year the Riverside Festival gets bigger and better. I am proud that Gravesham Borough Council are able to put on this event offering local people the opportunity to experience live music with some big names such as Peter Andre and have a really fun day. And, the best bit is, it’s free!”
