Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were taken to hospital after a brawl in Gravesend.

The Pelham Arms pub in Old Road West was cordoned off last night (Friday) (July 15) following a fight at around 7pm.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a disturbance involving multiple people at a pub in Old Road West, Gravesend.

"Officers attended and two men were taken to local hospitals for treatment."

She said inquiries were "ongoing" and asked witnesses who had not yet spoken to police to call 01474 366149 quoting reference 46/136604/22.
