Two brothers charged with possession of weapon and grievous bodily harm after assault in Lawrence Square, Northfleet

Two brothers have been charged after a man was reportedly stabbed in the chest.

Daniel Baker, 21, and Connor Baker, 19, both of Cygnet Gardens in Northfleet, were allegedly involved in the incident in Lawrence Square, Northfleet just after 10pm on Saturday.

The pair have been charged with possessing an offensive weapon - said to be a knife - and grievous bodily harm, and will appear before magistrates today.

Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance and the Kent Air Ambulance attended.

The injured man was taken by road to King's College Hospital in London with a chest injury.
