A man is due before magistrates after a police chase through Gravesend.

On February 23, a Ford Transit failed to stop for police in the area of St Hilda’s Way.

After a short pursuit, officers stopped the vehicle in Cervia Way and arrested its two occupants.

An 18-year-old woman from Gravesend was released without charge.

Anil Suman, 25, of Cimba Wood, Gravesend, has been charged with driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, using a vehicle without insurance, failing to stop a vehicle when directed by an officer, drink driving and dangerous driving.

He will appear at Dartford magistrates court on April 11.
