A child has been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a pedestrian.

An air ambulance and police were spotted outside a nursery in Gravesend.

Officers cordoned off a road near The Rainbow Tree Day Nursery in Wellington Street.

The collision happened in a car park off the road.

Police have confirmed a child has been taken to hospital. They were called at 8.50am and carried out door-to-door inquiries.

The ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
