Police are investigating a possible arson attack after a car was found on fire in a Gravesend street.

Officers were called to Arthur Street this morning after the incident was reported between 00.15am and 00.30am.

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said the car had been completely destroyed by the blaze. A second vehicle also suffered damage from the fire.

Police spokesman Carly Wymark says an alleged arson attack is being investigated.
