Police are investigating after two young boys were threatened and kicked by a man - just for their baseball caps.

The pair, aged 13 and 14, were walking along a track on Hever Court Road, at the back of Manor Hotel, in Gravesend, when they were approached by a man who demanded they hand over their caps.

He threatened them with a wooden pole and kicked out at one of the boys.

Officers have released an efit of a man they would like to speak to.

Investigating officer DC Jo Fountain said: ˜There were other people walking along the track at the time the boys were approached.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident, or have any information to come forward."

The incident happened between 2.10pm and 2.30pm on June 5.

The man is described as white, in his early 20s, has an oval shaped face, red around his eyes with a scar under his left jaw area.

He is approximately 6ft, slim and was wearing a grey tracksuit with Airmax black trainers.
