Police called to community centre in Whitehill Lane, Gravesend

Police have been seen at a community centre on the Kings Farm estate in Gravesend.

Officers, two cars and a van were seen at the centre, in Whitehill Lane, at around 12.45 today.

It is not yet known if anyone been arrested.

Rumours on Facebook suggest that the officers may have been called to the scene to remove squatters from the empty building.

On the Gravesend News community group, Melvyn Potter said: "Maybe squatters are in there and the bailiffs are with police present to gain entry."

Teresa Linyard Keepin said: "There is a squatter that lives in there, he has for years. That's why nothing is being done to it."
