A primary school has told two year group bubbles to self-isolate following an outbreak of Covid-19.
Pupils and staff in Year 1 and reception at Cecil Road Primary School, in Cecil Road, Gravesend, will stay home for 14 days from today.
It adds to the ever-growing list of schools which have been impacted by the virus.
Head teacher Yvonne Quigley said: "My colleagues and I are following Public Health England (PHE) guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone within the school community and as a result staff and pupils in our Reception and Year 1 bubbles along with some support staff will be self-isolating at home until returning to school on Monday 30th November.
"Home learning will be provided and staff will support pupils with their learning remotely through this period.
"The rest of the school remains open with staff and pupils continuing to follow PHE guidance in terms of social distancing, hand washing and cleaning to minimise the spread of the virus and ensure everyone can continue to learn and work in a safe environment.
"I would like to thank the staff, our parents and carers and our pupils for their support and understanding at this difficult time."
