Probe into dead man's unexplained injury

DETECTIVES are investigating the death of a man who was found to have an unexplained injury.

The man, Naster Singh Sahota, from Gravesend, was taken to the Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford last Sunday evening. Police said he had been brought in by paramedics who were called to his home.

Hospital staff failed to revive Mr Sahota and he was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived.

A Kent police spokesman said: "As a consequence of a post mortem an injury was disclosed which required further investigation by police. At this stage we are keeping an open mind about how the injury was caused."

Detectives say they are keen to speak to anyone who knew Mr Sahota or know about his wherabouts last Sunday.
