Dozens of people protested against plans to build hundreds of houses on greenbelt and greenfield sites last night.
Campaigners from villages including Meopham headed to the community square in Woodville Place, Gravesend, to show their concern over the Gravesham council proposals.
Following the protest, Gravesham council planning officers discussed the plans as part of a public consultation which runs until Thursday, December 8.
Protesters against the plans marched through Meopham last month in an attempt to raise awareness of the proposals.
