The Three Daws in Gravesend has one of the best roast dinners in the country.

A family pub has the eighth best British Sunday roast in the country.

The Three Daws, by Gravesend's Town Pier, was named among 49 other establishments in the Daily Mail's annual list.

“It has been really positive for us to see it happen.

“We take it as a compliment.”

The Three Daws was one of two venues in Kent to make the top 50.

It is not the first time the family pub has been recognised for their Sunday roasts. It featured in the Telegraph last year.

The pub’s successful menu features Harvel farm beef, Romney Roast lamb and Rosemary Roast Chicken.
