School pupils enjoyed learning about the rich history of the religion Islam on a visit to the culture centre.
Children from the Bronte School, in Pelham Road, headed to the Gravesham Muslim Cultural and Education Centre, in St Hildas Way, Gravesend, to speak and learn about the religion.
They were shown around the building, given a talk about the history of Islam and asked some questions of their own.
Chairman of the centre Jahir Ali was delighted with the turnout of pupils.
He said: "There was lots of children that came and visited, more than 20, who all said they had a great time.
"We welcomed them and invited them to experience the Muslim culture and how we live.
"We want more people to learn about our culture and experience it for themselves.
"The children were all very impressed by every thing and asked a lot of questions about the Muslim culture.
"We hope it inspires more people to come and learn about our religion."
