Mum Donna Howard said: "His school have been great and are still working with them through video linking and are setting homework daily.
"His English assignment was to write a poem based on society and he decided to create one based on the crisis we are all living through at present."
Ieuan used hidden meanings of words and creatively extended the length of each paragraph to represent the virus itself and the way it is spreading.
Donna said: "It’s so nice that he is still so passionate about his dreams."
Sayde Murray, a seven-year-old from Echo Square in Gravesend has also written a poem in an attempt to spread her message in these hard times.
The St John's Catholic Primary School pupil made an acrostic, a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a particular word or phrase.
Mum Katrina said: "Before this all started, Sayde was learning poems at school.
"She understands what's going on at the moment and is naturally very creative so wanted to write about people being kind.
"On our daily walk, she likes to look at the rainbows stuck on people's windows and as a result she wanted to do something too.
"When she grows up she wants to be a paramedic, so she's always been interested in making people feel better."
