Rail services have been disrupted this afternoon while emergency services deal with a trespasser on the tracks.
Police were called to Gravesend shortly before 2.45pm and service travelling between Dartford and Strood were temporarily held.
Trains were unable to run through the station as power was temporarily switched off.
Passengers described the sweltering conditions on-board with one remarking it was "like an oven".
Shortly after 3pm the electricity was back on and lines through Gravesend re-opened allowing services to continue.
British Transport Police have since confirmed the their attendance due to reports of a trespasser.
Officers attended and a man was located. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Following the incident Southeastern issued a reminder warning people not to trespass as the act is both "highly dangerous and illegal".
The disruption to services is expected to last until 4.30pm and trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.
If you arrive 15 minutes or more late at your destination because of a delay or cancellation to a Southeastern service, you can claim Delay Repay compensation.
You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner here.
Thameslink passengers have also been warned some services may be revised on late-running trains which may not call at all the usual stations, or may only complete parts of their journeys.
Customers will be able to use their normal route but may need to change trains to get to their destination.
