A motorcyclist was injured in a seven vehicle accident in the rushhour this morning.

The rider was left lying in the road after becoming embroiled in a crash with six cars on the A2 at Cobham at about 7.45am.

Traffic was brought to a standstill until the scene could be cleared, but one lane was kept closed to enable the ambulance to reach the rider.

No information is yet available about the biker's injuries.
