Firefighters from Thames-side were called to two rubbish fires in just over an hour last night.

They arrived at the scene where a small amount of rubbish was set alight in an alleyway just off Rembrandt Drive, Gravesend at 11.24pm.

They were then called to separate rubbish fire on Old Road East, Gravesend at 12.30am.

No one was hurt in either fire.
