A rugby club are hosting an open day in their search for new members.
Old Gravesendians RFC are looking to welcome men and women aged 17 or above who are interested in playing the sport and experience what the club have to offer.
Director of rugby Omar Wahab said: “We know there are a lot of people moving into the area and there may be people who are keen to take rugby up again.
“We try to pride ourselves on being a community club and involve people of all levels so are absolutely inviting everyone along.
“A lot of clubs suffered during covid so it is a chance to rebuild after that. It will be good to build the club with a few new memberships.”
The club are looking to for people of any sporting ability, from experienced players to those who just want to give rugby a try, and are inviting them to join on the day.
The open day will be held on Saturday, July 15, at Fleetway Sports Ground, in Bronte View, Gravesend, DA12 1PX.
There will be a mixed rugby session, with touch rugby and fun activities, from 11am to 1pm, with a BBQ and bar afterwards.
