Coronavirus Kent: Gravesend schoolgirl's tribute to NHS workers

A 12-year-old artist from St George's School in Gravesend has shared her admiration for the NHS with a drawing dedicated to frontline workers battling Covid-19.

Sophie Jackson, of St Hilda's Way, drew the picture that represents the passing of Superman's cape to hospital heroes, last week.

Mum Pauline, a maternity care assistant, said: "Sophie does lots of art, she's very artistic.

"She's a very emotional drawer, so I gave her the title 'NHS' and she went from there."

Sophie's drawing has received more than 200 likes combined after being posted both on her mum's Facebook page and Darent Valley Hospital's own account.
