Shocking footage shows the moment a reckless driver sped along a Kent road at at least 200mph.
Videos circulated on social media show the Audi driver whooping and singing as they bomb along at night-time - with their speedometer creeping up to triple-figures.
One video appears to be filmed by the driver themself, while another was apparently filmed by a front-seat passenger.
At one particularly hair-raising moment, the driver meets a roundabout while travelling at more than 60mph.
Seeing a lorry approaching from the right, he shouts "not a lorry", before cackling with laughter and continuing to drive straight onto the roundabout without giving way, forcing the lorry to slam on its brakes.
The videos - posted to Twitter by London & UK Crime - were retweeted by a Metropolitan Police DS Andy Cox.
Posting from his personal account, he said: "Unfortunately more horrific driving.
"I have tasked investigative work to see if we can identify the car involved and location. "Needless to say if in London we will do all we can to seek the most robust action possible. If outside London we will support the relevant force."
But eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out the road appears to be the A2, in Kent.
Social media users suggested it could be the London-bound stretch near Gravesend Tollgate interchange.
Police are now investigating the incident.
A spokesman said: "Officers from Kent Police’s roads policing unit are aware of a video of poor driving that is being circulated on social media.
"Initial enquiries are under way and anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 01474 366149 quoting 22-0707."
The shocking footage comes just a day after a similar video went viral, showing the driver of a different car exceeding 200mph as they bombed along a road thought to be in Sussex.
