Staff 'threatened with knife' at Denton Grocers and Off-Licence, Gravesend

A member of staff was reportedly threatened with a knife during a robbery.

Officers are investigating the incident at Denton Grocers and Off-Licence in Gravesend which saw money stolen from the shop on Tuesday.

A man is alleged to have threatened the employee with a knife at around 2.15pm before taking a quantity of cash from the till.

The suspect then ran from the store in East Milton Road.

Investigators are urging witnesses or anyone with information that may assist the investigation to call police on 01474 366149, quoting crime reference 46/109421/22.
