There was dancing as well as the usual provender among the aisles at a Northfleet supermarket.
Weekend shoppers were treated to slices of cake and a dance demonstration by ViBe Dance Nights as part of Sainsbury’s 140th birthday celebrations.
Dancers showed shoppers at the Pepper Hill store how to perform a modern jive which the troupe says is fast becoming one of the UK’s most popular partner dances.
Dwain Leaver, founder of ViBe Dance Nights, said “Many people stopped to watch us dance and make enquiries on our dance style. It was a pleasure to be invited and be part of Sainsbury’s 140th birthday celebrations.”
