An auction is to be held online with the opportunity to win celebrity-worn jewellery, a yacht trip and even meet stars of daytime television.
ellenor hospice, in Northfleet, is hosting its first ever silent fundraiser with all money raised going towards providing end-of-life care.
The charity provides support to more than 3,000 patients and their families every year across Gravesend, Dartford, Swanley and Bexley.
In April, the care organisation made a desperate appeal for donations after it predicted a shortfall of £1.1 millon over a four-month period following the suspension of its fundraising activities.
Emma Bowles, ellenor interim events fundraising manager said: "We’re excited to announce our first ever online auction; with a fantastic array of enticing prizes on offer, from sporting memorabilia to money-can’t-buy experiences.
"The money raised through the auction will make a real difference to the lives of people affected by terminal or life-limiting illness, and their families."
The two-week online auction will provide Kent businesses and individuals with the opportunity to bid on a range of exclusive items and raise money for the hospice.
Prizes include a week-long stay for up to six people at luxury Scottish hotel and spa resort Gleneagles, a private back-stage tour of ITV’s studios including Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, signed football memorabilia and a thrill-seeking wing walking experience on a bi-plane.
British jewellery designed by Katie Mullally and worn by the likes of Fearne Cotton and Ellie Goulding will also be up for grabs.
There's even some local prizes with the chance to take eight friends on a sunset yacht charter along the River Medway.
All the experiences will be open to the public for bidding from Monday, June 22 from 9 am until midnight on July 5.
The bidding will be powered by Bid-In, a professional online fundraising platform for charities to raise money with the assistance of Kent-based auctioneers Clive Emson.
Its founder Clive Emson said: “As professional auctioneers, Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers are honoured to be able to support ellenor by launching their first ever online fundraising auction.
"Supporting local charities is very much our company ethos and we are delighted to be able to help ellenor in raising some much-needed funds through this exciting new platform.”
