Singer Tom Parker, fresh from his efforts on the Channel 4 show The Jump, will be sending runners off into clouds of colour to raise money for charity.
Local hospice ellenor is offering its own colour run, with The Wanted star set get the 5km event underway at The Hop Farm in Paddock Wood this May Day.
“I’m about to return from six weeks in Austria for The Jump and I’m pleased that my feet will finally be back on solid ground, especially now I’m taking part in ellenor’s Colour Run,” he said.
“It promises to be a fantastic event and entrants can run, dance or even walk if they prefer!
“So get all your friends together and help make a difference to families facing terminal illness in Kent.”
Participants will be given a white ellenor t-shirt and covered in coloured paint powder as they make their way around the course, with all aged eight and up invited to take part.
Tickets cost £27 per person or £25 when registering more than three people at the same time.
The charity’s events manager, Hayley Brown, said: “We are so excited that our Patron Tom Parker is taking a morning out of his busy schedule to take part in our very first Colour Run.
“What better way to mark May Day in Kent than getting outside and celebrating fun and friendship – while getting covered in paint!”
