Marvel at the sight of comic book characters and storybook favourites in a special parade.
Hundreds of people young and old are being invited to dress up as superheroes and princesses in Community Square, Gravesend, on Saturday as part of the council's Christmas Everyday programme.
There will be prizes for the best-dressed characters and the parade, which starts at 4pm, will be led by a stunning horse-drawn carriage.
Among those taking part will be Twinkle the Bear and Flutterstar Fairy from Baby Ballet.
The parade will head from Community Square, down Windmill Street and then stop in New Road for Christmas carol-singing.
Other activities in the town throughout the day include crafts, story-telling, theatre and dance performances, choir-singing and music from the Gravesend Salvation Army Band.
The town's Christmas past will also be celebrated on Saturday with a special tour by local historian Christoph Bull at 6.30pm, or you can take part in a Christmas quiz with mulled wine and mince pies at The Windmill Tavern from 8.45pm on Sunday.
