A man has been released on police bail after two men were stabbed outside a Kurdish restaurant in Gravesend town centre.
The 25-year-old from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of assault following the attack at around 7.30pm on Monday, August 17. He has been released on bail, pending further inquiries, until October 21.
Police spokeswoman Carly Wymark said: "It is alleged that a glass window was smashed and two men suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds.
"Their injuries are not thought to be serious."
The stabbing took place outside a small cafe at the back of a short alleyway alongside Reliance Fish Restaurant.
Steve Day works at the chip shop and said: "We heard all of the commotion going on and it was a bit crazy.
"The restaurant literally had their doors smashed to pieces. Someone was going crazy and throwing their cutlery about. There was a lot of blood all over the place."
Mr Day called the police as soon as he heard the fracas.
Blood splatters were still visible on the pavement the following day, as well as a knife.
Mr Day said: "You can see all the blood on the chair from where one of the men was sitting after and there's loads of drops of blood on the floor."
Following the incident two men were taken to Darent Valley Hospital with arm wounds and a third patient was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with head injuries.
A police cordon was put in place from Reliance Fish Restaurant to Del's Fitness Centre.
