Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman says he is feeling fantastic after receiving treatment for prostate cancer.
The 65-year-old ballroom dancing teacher and judge on the BBC1 hit show wants to warn men to have yearly check-ups following his scare.
It was at his annual appointment that Mr Goodman’s cancer was discovered.
He said: “Once you reach a certain age everyone should be checked. I started going every year at 50."
Mr Goodman, who lives in Greenhithe, said his cancer was caught in its early stages, and was only slight, which enabled him to travel to America to continue his filming with American television programme Dancing With The Stars after he was diagnosed.
And now 16 days on from his operation at a hospital in Blackheath, he is looking forward to a holiday to Ireland in August to do three of his favourite things - 'play some gold, read and laze around.'
