A suspected burglar has been charged after a business was broken into twice in two weeks.
The business in Railway Place, Gravesend, reported being burgled and having a large sum of cash stolen at around 10.15pm on Christmas Eve.
The same suspect allegedly returned in the early hours on Friday, once again stealing more money during a break-in.
Officers investigating the suspected offences arrested a man on Saturday.
Following his arrest he was taken to a local hospital as a precaution and the next day, Adrian Edwards of Parrock Street, Gravesend, was charged with two counts of burglary.
The 47-year-old was additionally charged with failing to provide a sample for a drugs test, criminal damage and three public order offences.
Edwards appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court by virtual court on Monday and was remanded in custody.
