A man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of fraud after a joint operation between police and trading standards officers.
The initiative was aimed at targeting fraudsters and aggressive doorstep sellers.
Called operation Rogue Trader, the which ran from Monday, October 8, to Friday, October 12, is a national week of action aiming to stop unscrupulous business practices and raise awareness on the dangers linked to hiring cold-callers.

A 24-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation, he has also been bailed until the end of the month as has a 34-year-old man of no fixed address who was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
He has also been bailed until the end of the month pending further inquiries.
Kent Police's DS Marc Cananur from the serious economic crime unit, said: "During this week we have been focused on pursuing those responsible for rogue trading and bringing them to justice.
"These people prey on the most vulnerable members of our society, often leaving them feeling frightened and embarrassed.
"Rogue traders and cold callers can leave a profound and lasting impact on their victims.
"Working with our partners, we are committed to tackling this type of criminality and protecting vulnerable households."
