Ebbsfleet are still waiting for their first Conference point of the season after defeat at The Lamb on Tuesday night.

Daniel Bradley’s 70th-minute winner clinched the points for the Staffordshire side, firing home from 18 yards, after Craig Stone’s clearance had fallen to him on the edge of the box.

It might have been a different story had striker Liam Enver-Marum (pictured) not seen his effort bounce off the woodwork seven minutes earlier after Alex Stavrinou and Michael West had set-up the chance.

Stavrinou replaced Giannoulis Fakinos in one of two changes from the side that lost against York, the other seeing Calum Willock come in for the suspended Tom Phipp.

Fleet, playing in their new purple away kit, made a bright start, winning a couple of early corners, before Tamworth started to press midway through the first half with forward Iyseden Christie wasting three chances before
half-time.

Enver-Marum and West worked hard in the closing stages, looking for a way back into the game after falling behind but had no luck.
