A 19-year-old drag queen has landed a finalist position in Miss Drag UK.
Luke Drozdiak, professionally known and Londyn Victoria, from Gravesend, has been discovering his aesthetic over the last six years and since turning 18 has been perfecting his art across the UK.
It was this passion and experimentation which lead Luke to the Miss Drag UK finals, a competition mix of drag queens and beauty pageant contestants.
From Churchside in Vigo, Luke has been experimenting with make-up and fashion since he was 14.
The Slim Chickens worker said: "I've performed in Manchester to London, singing, lip syncing, playing instruments and even doing comedy.
"I just find it so important to interact with my audience, I want to make sure everyone is having a good time."
When growing up Luke suffered with confidence issues but found that expressing himself through drag and meeting others in costume gave him a wild confidence boost.
Luke said: "I've been so lucky to have my family, I'm so grateful, they're supportive and have rooted for me from the start."
The competition is being hosted in Folkestone at the Grand Burstin Hotel and consists of two categories, the first a high fashion more expressive theme and the second, a more traditional pageant style with evening gowns and glamour.
As well as competing to see who has the best gown for the crown, entrants are also raising money for Abigail's Footsteps, a baby loss charity that provides support and counselling for bereaved parents and families, their target is just £50 each.
Judges for Miss Drag Uk haven't been announced yet, but over previous years the panel have consisted on previous pageant winners, who question the participants as to why they deserve to be Miss Drag UK.
Luke added: "If someone ever tells you not to do something like drag, do it as soon as possible.
"Tomorrow is never promised and it could take your career to new heights, just like it did with mine."
Miss Drag UK will take place on Sunday, March 29, between 6.30pm and 10.30pm, click here for tickets.
