AN 18-year-man has been charged with attempted rape and sexual assault on a 34-year-old woman in a park in Gravesend.

Ibrahim Mahdi Ahmed, of no fixed address, was due to appear before magistrates in Dartford today.

A second man, aged 19, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The incident is alleged to have taken place at about 8.30pm on Monday in Graveeend's Milton Park.
