Three people escaped injury this morning after a tumble drier went up in flames.
Two fire crews were called to Main Road, Longfield Hill, near Meopham, just before 7am to reports of a ground floor blaze at a house.
When they arrived three adults were stood outside but none required treatment.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the flames and used a fan to clear smoke from the property, eventually leaving at 8.20am.
Longfield Road was shut for a short period while crews worked.
