Melliker Lane in Meopham is due to close for almost three weeks for sewer and gas works.

Kent County Council says the road will be shut from Monday, February 7, for 19 days, or until the works are completed.

The work is to install a new sewer and gas connection, and the road will be closed outside The Coach House.

The alternative route is via Melliker Lane, A227 Wrotham Road, B260 Longfield Road and vice versa.
