They turned out in their hundreds to see diver Tom Daley at Bluewater back in 2012 and there were queues for his latest visit this week.
The 2016 Olympic medallist signed copies of his new health and fitness book, Tom’s Daily Plan, at Waterstones on Monday.
Fans queued outside the store for hours waiting to meet their hero.
Tom’s Daily Plan promises eating and workout ideas, plus motivation and lifestyle tips, and even recipes for nutritious cake and chocolate dishes.
Bookseller David Stevenson said: “I’m a huge fan of Tom’s so I’m very excited about his new book. It’s the perfect way to start a healthy new year.”
When Tom was at the centre in August 2012, hundreds of fans had to be turned away after crowds began forming outside the book store at 1am.
Waterstone’s bosses had to close the queue at about 9.30am – three hours before he was due to arrive.
Thankfully, the queues weren’t quite as long this time around.
